About "Suiten" (萃点)
"Suiten" is a Buddhist word coined by the Japanese polymath Minakata Kumagusu. It means a place where a myriad of truths and bonds gather and co-arise dependently.

Minakata famously protested the Meiji-era Shrine Consolidation policy, fearing that the destruction of local guardian forests (Chinju no Mori) would not only cause an ecological crisis but also fundamentally undermine the foundation of local communities, the spiritual ecology of people, and ultimately, human existence itself—all inextricably linked to nature.

Over a century has passed, yet his warning seems to still resonate profoundly along the path humanity has taken through modernization.
