【The Words of Suiten】27 Cards & a Booklet Set [ENGLISH version]
¥4,000
Product Name: the Words of the Suiten (Suiten no Kotoba) Card & Booklet Set The Words of Suiten are practical wisdom rooted in nature and ecosystem that has emerged through Ecological Memes’ process of exploration. The Cards are designed to help you apply these tips in a wide range of contexts including your everyday life and organizational development. The set includes 27 cards and a booklet that provides relevant research cases and columns from various fields such as ecology, complexity science, anthropology, management, organizational/leadership theory, psychology, and Oriental philosophy. About "Suiten" (萃点) "Suiten" is a Buddhist word coined by the Japanese polymath Minakata Kumagusu. It means a place where a myriad of truths and bonds gather and co-arise dependently. Minakata famously protested the Meiji-era Shrine Consolidation policy, fearing that the destruction of local guardian forests (Chinju no Mori) would not only cause an ecological crisis but also fundamentally undermine the foundation of local communities, the spiritual ecology of people, and ultimately, human existence itself—all inextricably linked to nature. Over a century has passed, yet his warning seems to still resonate profoundly along the path humanity has taken through modernization. We sincerely hope that these seeds of wisdom will resonate with the inherent intelligence and bodily experience within each person. May they act as a catalyst for the dynamism and surge of life attempting to overflow into the world, and serve as a gateway for re-weaving the connection with the living world that modern society is losing.
